No, I think AI will have a major impact on society before streaming video loss-leaders empty the coffers of every megacorp that decides to run one. Everyone talks about AI as if everything is fine right up until we reach human levels of intelligence (2050 at the latest) then it's over. When we reach human levels of intelligence, that's the end of the end - the day the last human brain is put on a shelf in a museum. Problems start happening way before that.
As am internet user, I am far more concerned about AI moderation effecting the content I consume than I am about bandwidth throttling.
