I mean the in-universe impracticality, considering how easily they're blown up and how they move at three inches per hour, rather than any physics problems.

why does luke's hand have no skin?
I mean he was given a robotic hand at empire strikes back, but it had skin?
and in ROTJ I always supposed he had the same one?

It got shot on the Sail Barge in ROTJ and he wore a glove the rest of that film.
