the binding of isaac is crashing for no reason

before this stuff started happening i had both of the dlc installed
i uninstalled the dlc to use a mod and it started crashing for no reason. it did the same after i installed the mod. even though i uninstalled both dlc, the dlc files were still in the game folder.

i reinstalled the game, it still loving crashed, and the files were still here. this is really getting on my nerves. please help

thats what i did already

try uninstalling any mods if you have them, that fixed it for me

deleted all the mods, still loving crashing

One thing I could recommend doing is checking the integrity of the game folders, it might do something.

i remember having this happen and i had to go in and delete the files of the mods themselves to make it stop
might be a different situation for you

i deleted everything and reinstalled the game, i also got the mod to work too
