programs or apps to help with college work planning

i am horrible at remembering due dates or other stuff, I need something to help be able to plan it out instead of all my assignments being scattered in the wind through the syllabuses (which dont have every assignment on them, wtf!) due date "pages" (missing a ton of smaller due dates) and other stuff. I tried the HW app for iphone and it kinda sucks, do any of yall use anything?

For my internship, I used Microsoft OneNote to keep track of everything, I liked it a lot.

I've heard good things about Trello for planning, but personally have never used it.
