This would be neat
Have your people try to memorize the lines and have them spice it up so they can be themselves, back when I was in high school they did the same video news, 3rd hour they do the pledge and then talk about random stuff, had pretty good graphics too, the actors knew what to always say and even dress up funny just to spice it up. They had some pretty awesome ideas and most of it was original.
