| how to make stereo mix stop recording my mic? |

oh yeah for some reason you need to have something connected to the main headphone jack on pc. you can literally use a headphone cable thats not even connected to anything and it'll work. I remember having to set the "realtek high definition audio" device as my default playback device for it to work. i didnt figure out a way around this. |

try right-clicking stereo and selecting 'use as default device/use as primary communications device'. on mobile so wording might be a bit off also make sure you have realtek hd audio installed. a lot of headphones/speakers/mics wont work properly without it. |

I had to grab an old pair of earphones just so stereo mix could pickup my windows sounds. |
