your motherboard is fried. I’ve had a similar issue where I accidentally fried a board and the result was the exact same.

yeah like i said, either motherboard or cpu. if both of those are working it will at least make it far enough to tell you that something has aids, and if its even trying to boot i doubt its the power supply

well forget, this is shaping up to be an extremely expensive repair

I built this tower when I was in 8th grade, and the thing is literally held together by duct-tape in parts

It's almost unfeasible to try and swap out the motherboard given my current setup, so I think I'll just end up buying a new case, motherboard, and CPU and trying to rebuild from there

in other news, this is my only machine with the specs for real vidyagaming, so I guess my GPA just went up a little bit
