This will no doubt continue until YouTube becomes just another form of Traditional Television. No interesting or unique views, no small-guys, only titans with stagnant views from one or two perspectives. This is done to appease the "Advertiser Friendly" complaints. If there is to be any success in stopping this, there needs to be boycotts or some form of protest, but knowing the way people are now, they'll go the "No one else is doing it, why should I?" Route, as an excuse on why they don't want to give something up for the sake of preserving it. I insist that boycotts are the only way to stop this, don't give them you're money. Don't pay for YouTube Red. Stop watching YouTube, Adblockers clearly aren't enough to warrant their attention. If this should occur, we may have a shot at keeping YouTube the way we want it... Otherwise, enjoy watching YouTube die. |
