i had this happen to me literally last week, you'll be fine. what i ended up doing was wearing both boots with all clasps on loosest setting and the top clasp attached but not tightened, makes the boot give you correct support but doesn't strangle your shin. if you feel it starting to happen try and wiggle your toes as much as possible when you're on lifts and stuff, it keeps the blood flowing as much as possible.

update: I went back to the place I'm staying after skiing today and went to the hot tub

feeling's back in the toe

it happens. it's normal. if i had to guess its just your nerves in your foot getting used to having a toe again. it took mine about 3 days? 4 days? to go away, so just be patient with it, don't freak
