I mean...... I guess. but only that thin knifeyness is gonna hurt you. the wide side is just gonna slide by. you'll wind up with a smaller wound in the end. the bullet, on the other hand, would be awful. especially if it's hollow point or something and all those small pieces end up in your foot. nah. I'm going for the knife

by being stabbed you can bleed out much faster, but less painful and a lot easier to operate on and close the wound
also what type of bullet?
if it were be shot in the foot or stabbed in the chest tho I would be shot
