Youtube forgets over small content creators

RedGajin:
tac how do you find it ridiculous that the 119th episode in a series about loving paper mario has 11k views
11k views in an hour is way over what I would expect any paper mario vid to get, let alone one 100 episodes in like jc. sounds to me like whoever makes the vid is doing aight
Tactical Nuke:
it's part of a series so you'd expect the people who watched the last couple of videos to watch this but even then they don't
e-maxx:
it's only been up for three hours and already doubled in views chill brah
OrangeMan³:
intellectuals (such as myself) who watch high quality content aren't as good of a market as stupid people because they are more likely to have lives outside of youtube, less likely to buy merchandise and stupid stuff like Youtube Red, and more likely to hold content creators to higher standards (meaning less videos and consequently less views)
beachbum111111:
Is that a problem with the YouTube algorithm or a problem with game grumps content?

I don't even see how letting small channels be partners is a financial issue in the first place. You can't get adsense money until you make 100 bucks in ad revenue
