For a first, I think you really showed your understanding of brick count conservation! Typically I see first builds use a lot of 1x1x5s and such instead of the bigger bricks because, y'know, the mindset is more likely "let's just fill it up as quickly as I can" than "how efficient can I be". Like, for example, the interior walls are nice and large, and the exterior uses the brick pattern fairly well. Good work! |

Good work! --- End quote --- I actually never thought of the brick count while I was making this, but it is good to know about such a thing just in case. I can understand why it's important, as servers that have a lot of addons already brings loading times to a crawl for me. What usually helps me along is thinking of how it would really work as a real lego set. I should try to experiment more with non-default/"classic" bricks looking back at it. What would be some good essential tools to help me along the way to speed building up as well? |
