in this case with OSX, it's not bad on NON-apple hardware. or better (HA) apple hardware. in my opinion working with OSX, i've had some OK experience doing linux-like operations. mactricks is nice to install wine systemwide or do other things. in my choice though, i'd rather run linux compared to OSX.
