i cant recommend restaurants enough for a summer job simply because the guest interactions are really fun, and its a really easy and self managing job when you get the hang of it

my friend works for a "small" turkish restaurant/bar hybrid and he basically just richards around all shift and when it gets late and slow they just drink free alcohol while they work

I got a job I enjoy and is easy, and now I'm actually doing homework and studying for once. I'd say its going pretty good.

But the windchill where I am is hovering around 0 and no matter which way I walk, it's always going into my face.

I've never been so unhappy in my life. I juggle with 35-45 hrs of work per week plus school so I have absolutely no time for anything whatsoever. I can't talk to any of my friends because of my schedule, nor can I establish any sort of romantic relationship because I wouldn't even have time to talk to someone. Once I do have time for myself I can only check loving reddit or something before I have to leave to do something else and im going loving crazy

i'm great :) just signed on for an internship this summer at a mobile game company, leading a dance team which is time consuming but fun (we just selected our team so meeting a lot of new people and the fresh blood is nice). school is fine, i often have to skip lecture because i'm too exhausted but the exhaustion is for a good cause and i can watch the lectures as videos so it's not affecting me academically. socially i'm doing probably better than usual, the aforementioned captain thing means that i've gotta interact with a lot of people so hurray for pushing myself out of comfort zones and meeting lots of new people.

oh and because i'm too busy i've quit online dating lmao but its ok i dont need anyone im a strong independent boi :,)

Its kinda forgeted but ok imo, my phone died, my dad got a fracture in his shin bone, my dog got his arm mutilated and had to be put down, but I did get a sweet gig with caring for my neighbor's kids since I have experience as a caretaker ( I can even use my house's wifi from here fine lol) and me and my friends have been making some coon stuff that we might release on youtube. In fact I feel so much better now than earlier this week I might actually update my drawthread lol
