It seems like there's more evidence so far that this kid liked right-wing politics (which again, I doubt had any influence), and also I never blamed Sephiroth's murders on politics.

So all things considered, that's some serious mental gymnastics you're pulling there.

People are going to politicize any major tragedy because any kind of productive statement on what could/should have been done is going to fall under the purview of 'politics'. It's arguably a better response than just being like 'hurr I'll pray for you'.

because school shootings are pretty political? gun control, mental health, that kinda stuff. school shootings are at least partially the result of political conditions.
