bro, the catholic church is corrupt and at one point in time they wanted you to "pay" for salvation. If that doesn't give you an idea of the kind of church they are idk what will.
Just because the catholic church accepts evolution doesn't make it true, it makes the catholic church a hypocrite instead - for accepting a belief that their religion contradicts
Either the hen and rooster came first and made the first egg(s) together, or 2 fertilized eggs were created first, and hatched into a rooster and a hen which went on to create more.
I'd like to think the rooster and hen came first, since the possibility of a fertilized egg surviving on it's own sounds highly improbable.
If you ask me, we should be encouraging religions to accept the scientific consensus since it would lead to less disagreements over policy and public education. Religions, like any ideology, are able to change. For the Catholic church to accept evolution is not hypocritical imo, it's progress.
