the only time i come close to speedrunning is when i somehow end up playing mario bros. those first levels are ingrained in anyones mind and im sure ppl can relate to doing those early levels rlly fast

i used to any% ocarina of time. i never got any crazy low times but the mathematics behind that kind of run was entriguing enough to try it

I attempted to speedrun Sunset Riders, then I gave up because it was too hard.

im trying to learn basic hopping stuff. been harder since the new engine (for me atleast) update in hl2

but i am considering trying to speedrun

hopping is almost impossible in the new engine

abhing is easier to do and sometimes faster

I used to speedrun HL1 on the old engine. I still do a bit of BHopping from time to time.

Also did a bit of HL2 New Engine speedruns but anywhere other than coast gets kind of boring unless you want to pull epic stunts.
