I was impressed. Spent most of my time on I-5 and I-10 and didn't go directly into Los Angeles, so the traffic that I encountered was never that bad. SoCal was short sleeve weather during the afternoons even in the winter, while northern California had mountains and forests.

the fries are bad only cause they dont double-deep fry them. they're far less oily and crispy than mcdonald and co counterparts, which takes away from the taste, but its less of a cholesterol bomb for you as well

animal style somewhat makes up for it, but sometimes they overdo the onions and its ehhh. probably better just with nacho cheese and ground beef.

overall i like in-n-out but i dont consider it god tier. definitely outclasses most burger joints though.

I didn’t like their animal style fries the first time I tried them, but when I tried again and put ketchup in the mix, made it infinitely better. I’d order those again. Other than that, yeah In n Out is basic bitch food.
