perhaps the veganism was a symptom and not a causation - anecdotally speaking, making such an obsessive, extreme, and all-encompassing lifestyle change takes either a large amount of conscious effort or a hell of a lot of batstuff-crazy.

If you look at her website, it seems to be more option 2 than option 1.

I mean, she claims youtube was age-restricting her videos to lower their view count because she is a "vegan activist" and believes that YouTube has an anti-vegan agenda, so it's not surprising that she has the "stab-you-in-the-eye-with-a-screwdriver" look in every single picture.

I've seen vegans claim they will eat human meat just to make sure there are less humans in the world.
