I've had this computer for quite some time aswell. It's not whether you have a Mac or a PC, it's whether you have a habbit of getting viruses/beating your computer, or not.

So many times I get this. "My computer isn't working, it's all its fault! Why won't it work!?" Because your not fu[SIZE=0pt].[/SIZE]cking using it right, da[SIZE=0pt].[/SIZE]mnit. Maybe if she didn't download random sh[SIZE=0pt].[/SIZE]it ActiveX viruses from her favorite research sites, and didn't slam her laptop against the wall every time she tried to open something with 256 MB of RAM instead of just upgrading her RAM to an amount of the 21st century, it would work properly. The only reason any computer won't work is because you either fu[SIZE=0pt].[/SIZE]cked it up or you aren't using it the right damn way.

LegoEggo... you sound like a fanboy. Arguing with fanboys is useless, so go play with your mac. I like BUILDING my computers, not have people pre-packege them for me to be extra-thin or extra-quiet and charge me an extra billion dollars for it. This is where macs FAIL miserably - the ability to add content at will.

Right on the spot. PC's, while the hardware costs only slightly less, have plenty of freeware programs. Mac does not. Since you cannot build your own Mac, Apple forces you to buy the software suite as well, increasing the price of the end product. Therefore, Macs are indeed designed for the "rich kids" who can't or won't take the time to build their own computer to save money and learn something new, and probably don't know the difference between memory and storage.

This is Apple's marketing strategy, if you haven't noticed already. Everything of Apple's is marketed as being "cool". However, Apple is moving off the computer market to the portable electronics market. They make literally THOUSANDS of times more money off of iPods and iPhones (about which I could probably write a whole separate rant) than they make off of their computers. Hence, the company focus will shift to portable electronics, and their computers' quality will slowly degrade or become more mainstream (coughIntelprocessorscough).
Becasue PC's, in general, come in many different brands, styles, companies, etc., the market shift will never be a problem for them. While Microsoft, often seen as the "PC company", is another large corporation, the companies that make PC's possible are not. (Ex. Intel, AMD-ATi, nVidia, ASUS, Gigabyte, the list goes on...). If you really hate Microsoft that much, you can always install Linux on your PC.
I think that people who like Macs a lot don't really know or care how a computer works on the inside, they just want it to look nice and have a user-friendly interface. And that means apple can rip them off because they're clueless.

This post will also show if you're really a fanboy or not. If you argue my claims reasonably, you're not a fanboy. If you ignore the claims and/or flame me, I've got bad news for you.

no tower = toy? lul, unless apple invented a .4 inch wide 6 inch long video card, to replace the PC's high end cards at 11 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. (and they haven't) then wtf indeed? I'm unimpressed by the power

my argument is not about macOS or windows. i would happily use any that has the games. it just happens to be windows.

i hate macs simply because of the hardware options. the best possible mac hardware isn't even close to the best PC hardware.   nothing on earth could make me look at a mac now. the fight is completely lost by them.
