Is this too square?

So this peninsula is literally just on about 12 32x32 cubes.

I tried my best to give off the illusion that it's not square but I still get the feeling it looks too square.

Make the part leading up to it of equal thickness or make it widen slowly to fix it.

Sounds good

yes I've said this multiple times.

i think it looks fine as long as nobody is looking down at it from a birds eye view like in the first pic

Um, when?

Why are the outer walls and moat a square. Why is the brown path so choppy, going straight and only taking 90degrees turns. Why does the grass terrain look like a stair, with no natural appeal.

I'm not talking about the walls though.

I think the hard angles work well on the rocky gray parts, but the dark green grass does look too square to me. If you rounded it off with plates I think it would look more organic.

You still haven't provided any useful advice I'm afraid

i feel like making some deep juts in about halfway through on the sides would help some. it's not bad though from a first person angle
