Author Topic: should consenting death row inmates/life in prison be able to fight to the death  (Read 4565 times)

prove me wrong

pros
-its fun
-they're going to die in prison anyway
-perhaps ads can be run between fights and the money generated goes to something
-dueling is technically not illegal so how is this any different

cons
-literally nothing

/debate

as horribly awful of a thing this sounds like...

you're right there really isn't any cons

how to solve the feral hog and prison overpopulation problems:

step 1: catch hogs
step 2: catch prisoners
step 3: put them into the thunderdome until everything is dead
step 4: repeat until prisoners and hogs don't exist

As long as they sign contracts stating they won’t change their mind and ask for medical help after they get mortally wounded.

we need to pitch this to congress

we need to pitch this to congress
in between rounds they can have a combine harvester/zamboni-like machine go through to grind and suck up all the prisoner/hog corpses into mystery meat which can then be sold to the spectators

now we can solve hunger too

brilliant plan courtesy of richard crafts btw

They will fight! They will die! And all for you! All for your entertainment!

What if we launched them toward the sun, and made it a race of death?

what about death race in real life
just get a bunch of junker cars and have em demo derby with 0 protection.  no seatbelts, helmets, or airbags
