Author Topic: Someone Was Trying to Break Into My Network (Again)  (Read 1612 times)

I'm thinking of making a website or a server or something, but then I go on here and only understand 6/7 of the stuff here.

Well, what kind of server are you after making? HTTP, game server, storage?

My first recommendation, get an old PC and pick a linux distro.

I use usually Fedora (Even though I hate systemd), but Ubuntu or Debian could also be good. Or if you're a masochist you could start on FreeBSD, or OpenBSD.
