After several months of discussion, the Jamaican government, headed by its Prime Minister Andrew Holness, has finally decided to ban k-pop from the Caribbean nation. This decision was taken due to the popularity that k-pop is getting recently. “People are becoming fans of this kind of ‘music’. We all know how annoying k-pop fans can be, so it’s better to be safe than sorry”, said a government spokesperson.“More and more teenage girls started following k-pop bands in Jamaica. They’re obsessed with them and they’re not doing homework, working or doing anything else.”, said the prime minister. He kept going: “Our boys are following k-pop too, and they’re turning gay. This needs to be stopped at all costs”, he concluded.
