the pomp universe does exist in a multiverse, but it's the only pomp universe in that multiverse
the other universes are also sentient though, and once the babies tried to convince another universe to replace theirs so they could have cuteness fields, and when that failed they tried living inside that universe instead, which did give them their cuteness fields back but being the only things in that universe it was completely pointless.
