why is everyone familiar with what a tucker is
i've never heard of this car until today, what's so special about it?
It was built to last, and was about 50 years ahead of it's time. It had every modern day safety feature, and out of, if I remember correctly, 250 built, only 3 are no longer functional. It's been about 70 years since they were made, but they got shut down quickly because of legal harassment by other American automobilers. They didn't actually infringe on copyright, mind you, but between legal fees and bad press, they collapsed.
