Author Topic: game industry crash is coming.  (Read 8565 times)

Fallout 3 used loving pre-built oblivion assets.

Fallout 4 used loving pre-built skyrim assets.

Fallout 76 uses all of F4's pre-built assets and it literally has the Skyrim magicka code still in the loving game.

So where's your excuse now?
Not an excuse, just a general reason for how they managed to do that.

F76 took 3 loving years. lol

And those three years was probably dedicated entirely to setting up netcode and infrastructure. You know code isn't magically willed into air, right?

in 18 months no less with Fallout NV.

F76 took 3 loving years. lol
i meant like in Quality
Like, Dusk made by New Blood is way better than the COD franchise as a whole

You know code isn't magically willed into air, right?

If his suggestions and requests are concerned, he certainly thinks so.

But yeah, I totally agree with Tony. Bethesda will totally bring about another video game crash single handedly.
Tell us again how you dont like their games..

And those three years was probably dedicated entirely to setting up netcode and infrastructure. You know code isn't magically willed into air, right?

You mean that stuffty plain text netcode that wasn't even loving encrypted?

They should of just had loving zenimax handle the online portion of the game considering how much more competent they are with netcoding.

You're also forgetting Bethesda is a triple AAA game studio. So giving them a pass for this bullstuff is unforgivable.

You know the same bugs in F76 are present in F4 and skyrim (despite the fact modders already patched those bugs years ago). We gonna give them a pass on that too because Bethesda is just known for bugs and this should be expected? lol

Don't worry about F76 though  "ThE MoDdErS WiLl FiX It!"

The same loving excuse I've been hearing since Oblivion, "ThE MoDdErS WiLl FiX It!"

You mean that stuffty plain text netcode that wasn't even loving encrypted?

They should of just had loving zenimax handle the online portion of the game considering how much more competent they are with netcoding.

Hey dumbass, you realize stuffty code takes just as long to write as competent code, right? Like, just because they dropped the ball on pretty much everything doesn't mean that it should have taken less time to develop netcode out of basically nothing on an engine that was never meant to have an always-online foundation. The three-year development time is perfectly reasonable, considering what they made.

>They should have just had loving zenimax handle the online portion
I'm not sure if shunting off crucial loving features of your game to a different company promotes convenience

Also take this into account: I'm not defending the game, I'm clearing up 'fake news' that you're spreading through your ignorance

You realize Bethesda has a 2.5 loving billion dollar networth and has connections with ZenimaxOnline and they still couldn't come up with loving decent netcoding?

Stop treating Bethesda like a loving indie company.

Even indie game companies have better loving netcoding and it doesn't take them 3 loving years just to develop netcode.

And you're also defending the fact Bethesda release loving Fallout 76 too loving early and slapped a 60 dollar price tag on an unfinished game.

What was the "beta" for? The beta came out 2 weeks before the game released, so what the forget was Bethesda going to do within those 2 weeks?

They sure as hell wasn't going to rewrite the loving net code in those 2 loving weeks just in time for the loving final release.

The beta was the actual game disguised as a "beta" just to get pre-order sales up and if anyone complained about the loving beta being stuff the average rabid fanboy response is "it's just a beta, it will be fixed before release in 2 weeks"

Stop treating Bethesda like a loving indie company.

You have no idea how any company operates. You make an assload of assumptions and then get angry when something conflicts your shambles of an opinion.

If you don't like being disagreed with, make an effort to stop sharing your awful opinions. Otherwise, you will continue eating stuff every time you try to talk from a matter-of-fact authority.

The beta was the actual game disguised as a "beta" just to get pre-order sales up and if anyone complained about the loving beta being stuff the average rabid fanboy response is "it's just a beta, it will be fixed before release in 2 weeks"

Literally every single one of your arguments starts with you feeling victimized or marginalized, I'm beginning to think you're just like the SJWs you bitch about all the time. Maybe if your response to something happened was a bit more nuanced than "Angry because something bothered me", you'd get better reception.
Fallout 76 by all means is a mediocre game, this is not a point of contention. Everyone agrees with this. What everyone doesn't agree with is how goddamn dramatic you're being about a game being mediocre. It's not good! Go figure! Bethesda, who are known for being the company of half-measures, released a half-measure. I'd say this consistency is overall better for the game industry as a whole because it's more stable. Anyone buying Fallout 76 right now will know exactly what they're buying into.

This is the same stuff I said towards Master Matthew and it works here. You're a chicken little. The sky is always falling for you, and you're completely unaware of how tiring and annoying this is for everyone surrounding you.

Just admit bethesda forgeted up.

There is no excuse for them to release an unfinished 60 dollar game with stuffty ass netcoding especially when zenimax online could have loving helped them out like they did with ESO.

Even ID software has better loving netcoding with their games.

And last I checked Todd Howard did brag about getting help from zenimax and ID software. and yet the game is still loving garbage.

Just admit bethesda forgeted up.

There is no excuse for them to release an unfinished 60 dollar game with stuffty ass netcoding especially when zenimax online could have loving helped them out like they did with ESO.

Holy stuff, are you even reading my posts? I'm calling you stupid because you think you can get away with obfuscating reality to fit your inane arguments because you don't like a game everyone else has agreed is a mediocre, uninspired mess.

Nobody else feels the need to continue banging pots and pans because there is nothing else to unearth here, just a bad game being released by a sub-par company known for making not-very-deep games. This is the same loving ground you're retreading from when Fallout 4 released. EVERYONE GETS IT.

It's like there's a point that's floating around your head that you always managed to just barely miss because you can't pull your own head out of your ass.
