but because they grew up with the movie, they're inclined to enjoy it more. lots of people who grew up in the late 90s to early 2000s tend to think favorably towards the cartoons they grew up with. some pretty good examples are animaniacs, shrek, iron giant, etc.

more corporate �lets pick the safe option to make money� approach to creative arts. cant blame em, but it makes for lots of sequels instead of unique new stuff like ratatouille
