this idea that you can’t criticize cops because you don’t know what you’d do in that situation is loving ludicrous and you should feel ashamed. the populous governs and relies on the police to protect them. knowing how to handle emergency situations and making split second decisions is a fundamental part of a cops training. i understand humans are prone to errors, but this idea that they deserve slack because “you don’t know what it’s like!!” is stupid
