I stumbled on this a few days ago https://github.com/ltjamergaman/blockland-cod-zombies-mod I haven't looked at setting it up though but it already has a fair bit recreated.
Not to mention we already have two great zombie maps thanks to Jes00!
This has been requested so much since literally 2009 but it's never been completed. Alot of stuff has been completed already though. The raygun and thundergun along with DrenDran's bo1 pack but probably remastered to fit the gamemode more and because they're both pretty old. I think this gamemode would be really fun hopefully you end up creating it Jes.

Hologlaxer has made a mod aswell. He had a national socialist zombies server open today he has barriers, perks, the score system, rounds and buyable doors and weapons all functional. I recorded a video here. Not everything in the gamemode is finished but its a good start I'm not sure if he plans to release the mod but hopefully we do see a public cod zombie mod released eventually. Blockland has a lot of potential for custom brick-built zombie maps

Pretty cool. Those barricades are ugly as dirt though.

if you're trying to make it like bo1 I would say maybe try to make some traps from the maps? in bo1 there was a lot of focus on traps since like you didn't have gobblegums in bo1 and you had to kinda use traps or pap your gun but not all maps have pap training is important too and maybe some bosses if ya want. Mainly the shangri la zombies since they could be really cool in blockland modelwise. There's also some bomb ass buildables you could make like a shield or other things in bo1 but theres more buildables from bo2. God I sound like a idiot this is what I get for playing cod on xbox for hours in middle school
