Age of Dungeons (1.1) - A multiplayer RPG dungeon crawler

Age of Dungeons is a multiplayer roguelike rpg gamemode with a massive randomly generated dungeon. The game is non-permadeath (though you do lose some stuff on death) and favors long-term progression by leveling, affording higher and higher tier items, and finding rare items. There are three primary combat styles (melee, ranged, and magic) with no strict class enforcement. Outside the starting town, PvP is possible and you'll have to watch your back. All data is saved automatically (but you have to disconnect in town or else it'll count as a death), and your save data transfers seamlessly between any AoD server that is online. Thanks to this, there will usually be multiple servers hosted regionally to give players access to low ping gameplay.

I could go on forever since this is a totally massive gamemode that has seen years of development at this point. I would recommend simply reading the Game Guide if you're interested in the details of how everything works. If this is your first time hearing about this, you've missed out since it has been hosted a fair amount in the past.

I was gonna put instructions on fixing that here but cloudflare blocks me from posting any sql statements. See discord.

Cool server but I stopped playing because I would randomly time-out while inside a dungeon and lose 80% of my stuff.

Edit: I deleted cache.db, logged onto the server, and all of my items were deleted as a result of the crash.  Every single one, not just all but my 2nd most valuable item.  Why are items deleted as a form of punishment for disconnecting from the server outside of town?  To prevent players fleecing out of PvP?  Imo, that is so uncommon it doesn't even merit such a mechanic - most of the time it's players crashing anyways.

I love the server, but that mechanic discourages players from leaving the town for fear of a (Mis) or datablock error forcing a crash and losing everything.  I've heard them say as much.

Done. The backup was kind of old (Nov 26th) but it still looked a lot better than what you had reacquired.

... strange. I was able to connect just fine last night, but as of today, I keep getting disconnected with a cryptic error message: (Mis)

not sure what i could have possibly done to cause it, but now i can't get in. and when it did work (once), my entire blockland client crashed after opening a door on floor 2. since then, i get dropped about 1/3 of the way through loading datablocks with the same "(Mis)" error message.

let me know if there's any information i can get you. i haven't installed any new addons or... done anything (including joining other servers), really, since i joined the server for the first time last night. after a quick test though, it seems this server's the only one i can no longer connect to
