Author Topic: any better antivirus alternatives to avast?  (Read 581 times)

avast has been kind of a bummer for me and my pc for quite a long time and i want to change it for something else, i know there are a bunch of other good antivirus programs out there, but i just don't know which one to choose and i need some help with that, any recommendations?

windows defender is included with windows by default and is generally good enough in addition to basic common sense, if you really want a dedicated third party solution i see malwarebytes frequently get vouched for

tbh just don't click shady links but windows defender works too

malwarebytes is antimalware but it has a lot of overlap with antivirus software. it works really well to my experience
