Imagine this, you're a cop, you've been told you need to start rounding up guns. You have to go the house of a legal gun owner who knows you're coming for their guns and you have to knock on their door and... do what? Search the house for their guns? Ask them to hand them over? It's literally unenforceable. The only thing it'd do, if anything, is ban sales, and honestly I hope they do, because then just like abortion you handicaps are going to learn what happens when you start acting a little too stupid for the average person to follow

They're just going to come to picket fence suburban neighborhoods and take rifles from 9-5 dads. Trying to go into cities and stop the other 98% of gun violence would just be war on drugs 2. the FBIs entire funding goes to "keeping tabs on Hardcore Gamers but not actually arresting anyone and maybe even goading them into doing it"

also, i do think everyone would be safer if straight up no one had guns, but I think the usa is far passed that point of that being realistic and slowly accelerating towards fascism so i'd rather minorities just get strapped before its too late
