$Sky::WindVelocity no longer working

$Sky::WindVelocity from the .atmosphere file is no longer working for me, but it still works if you set it from the console with sky.setwindvelocity(); so i wanted to see if any one else is having this probelm or what i can do to fix it

its likely because just setting the global variable on the server isnt pushed to clients constantly, while the function updates it on clients as well.

Maybe, but it worked in 2013 in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZPwWy3ecZ4 maybe its broken?
