Rigel:
Armageddon was the original "EVERYONE IS HERE!" I just wish that they would've continued with that plotline instead of using Blaze as an excuse to go back in time.

Armageddon was good but as far as Mortal Kombat on PS2, my favorite was Shaolon Monks. amazingly fun couch co-op adventure. I still remember back when I first discovered the game on a ps2 demo disk all the fatalities were censored lol.

Twisted Metal 4, now that is a game I have played hundreds of times throughout the years. A bona fide classic! My brother and I still play that game every once in a while when we are hanging out on the weekends, though sometimes we opt to play Crash Bash instead.

yea i love replaying this with my brother and dad. if only there was an online version of this. i could imagine someone potentially making an online version, similar to how people made smash melee online. i would love to know how people do this, but you probably gotta be a giga coder

seems you can use netplay on ePSXe for this, although I haven't tested online functionality for this particular emulator so I'm unsure of how well it works. maybe give it a try?

On the topic of online play old games and playing them online:

https://www.teamxlink.co.uk/ - You boot this on your computer, plug your xbox into your router and you're good to go. I played Halo 2 online and you would just boot the game and pick a game to join.

https://thearchstones.com/ - Private server for Demon Souls. can be played with either a PS3 or a PC. Demon souls is playable at 60FPS on PC with the emulator RPCS3. Allows you to change your world tendency as you want.

Both of these don't have a huge number of players.
