my everything shower routine:
pre shower: scalp enzyme pre-treat. dry brush going from feet to shoulders. work an oil cleanser on my face for a minute or two
in shower: wash out enzyme treatment and rinse the oil cleanser off. shampoo the scalp very thoroughly, let it sit for a couple minutes, rinse. put conditioner on just the ends of my hair and while it sits, use an acidified body wash with a loofah starting from stinkiest bits (so it sits longer) to the least offensive bits. go in with whatever face wash i'm due to use in my rotation that day (sometimes an exfoliant treatment, usually a cream cleanser). rinse body and face, then if i'm due for it, use either a sugar scrub or an exfoliation mitt on my body. rinse, then shave. rinse, then wash conditioner out. if i'm due for it then i'll put in a hair mask and give my feet a scrub with a pumice stone while that sits, otherwise shower is done now and we can dry off
post shower: put on all my toners and serums and moisturizers on my face, then do a glycolic acid toner on the underarms and then apply deodorant. moisturize body with something that smells nice. spritz on either some texturizing spray in my hair or the olaplex bonding oil depending on how i'm feeling that night, then tie my hair up in a towel for a while
if i'm lazy, then it's usually just oil cleanser -> shampoo -> rinse -> condition -> body wash (assuredly i say unto you, the dogs still get their rightful taste of soap) and face wash while conditioner sits -> shave whatever might be visible the next day -> final rinse and dry -> skincare, acid toner, and deodorant
rinse everything for a couple minutes except my face and hair, bar of soap under the armpits and outside my ass, wet and shampoo hair then leave it on for a minute or so (i am cursed with sebderm so i gotta let that stuff work to help prevent 10000 flakes from falling out of my scalp later), rinse hair, exit shower, dry with towel, use cotton swabs and deodorant, brush teeth/shave/cut nails if needed, done
i highly recommend vichy dercos shampoo for dandruff. i received this recommendation from a blocklander, tried it on my blocklander boyfriend and it cured the stuff out of him, and then i tried using it on myself because i have a super oily scalp and usually have to shampoo twice (or use pre-wash enzymes and scrubs to clear it all out) but that shampoo gave me the best hair ever after and 0 leftover gunk on my head
