Author Topic: Compulsive jump/jetting between buildings (Read 3185 times)

This has been something that has always been on my mind. You get into some juicy chat and before long, you notice yourself jumping between two platforms (usually the roofs of houses - yes in-game before any of you start making cheesy jokes) continuously for what could be hours. I just want to know, how many people do this? And why do we do it?

Yup, I'll usually find some narrow ledge or large gap and jump around.

I type long sentences so I can't jump around much, but I do it sometimes.

I thought this would be a topic about someone needing help with jump(); or jet(); getting stuck on. Maybe there should be a button for that somewhere like in Age of Time. ("Ghetto Fixes - I can't stop jumping")

yeah i find myself doing that a lot, its not compulsive, your just BL/ AoT *Pacing* because of your exciting chat! XD Although, its compulsive for me, i do it EVERY time im on BL lol

Same. It's usually on two platforms (what you said) or across a pattern of bricks... I've tried to break this habit, but it's just too hard! Like chewing my fingernails! :O

I do it too.... Sometimes if no one has built anything I can jump on I'll jump/jet in one direction until I get far from everyone else, realize what I did, and Ctrl+K so I can get back.

Many hours I've spent in Res' server, both of us doing nothing but jumping around an empty slate map...

I usually go crouch, jet and go forward and go around the map.
