Last time I checked, many users like the fact you have to pay for Blockland because of the benifits (good master server, allow for the product to be professional, and ID system to name a few). � Also, it is a pay once. � Want to play blockland for life: $20. � Want to join the builders club for only a year $60.

actually it IS a monthly fee for builders club, you pay 5.whatever$ for a MONTH of builders club, so every month you want to be in builders club you have to pay 5$ same thing as a monthly fee, you pay money every month to keep doing what ever, don't pay and you don't get it, same thing,
