My friends are addicted to some of the wierdest MMO's out there...

Funny thing is, those are both some of the most popular MMO's out there. WoW is the biggest P2P MMORPG, and Runescape is the biggest browser based MMORPG.

Few tips:
Download WoW and BC first before making a trial account (Even though you can make 5 trials with one email.), because downloading and installing is a stuffload. Also, when it installs, it'll give you the option to 'stream' WoW. That means that it only downloads data for the places you visited. Don't do this, it's a total lagfest that way. Just download and install the whole shizam.

I think you need to download the downloader, then download installer files, then install files. This game is 10 GB.

Also, go for a Medium populated server. Low populated servers are too empty and there are more NPCs than people most of the time. It doesn't matter by PVP, RPPVP, RP or normal unless you want one of them. But on PVP or RPPVP servers, you can only have characters on either Horde or Alliance. Horde is better, though :3 'cause Alliance is full of pussehs.

Well, I just got regular WoW without expansions. My friend who is level 73 told me to get a good start on regular WoW then get the expansions. And my little brother is being an annoying stuff about it. Just because I started playing it he wants to start playing also. He'll quit within the hour, so why let him on?

It's a good idea to start on regular WoW now and get up to 60. Then when your ready, get BC and when your 70, get WotLK.

Also, don't let your brother play. Don't even give him a trial account. He will eventually become addicted to it like I was.
Just tell him it's not for his age group, especially because its rated T for Teen for a reason.
