Ok, this is something that just bugs the crap out of me. Got a new first person shooter? It must be based of halo. Playing a MMORPG, it is obviously a cheap verson of wow. WHAT?!? 1.If anything, halo is based of doom. No not your high def fancy graphics scare game, but the origonal. Seriously, halo is based off of other games, and very uncreative. Just because it is first person, and you shoot things, it doesn't make it a halo nock-off. 2. MMORPGs are not based of wow. I was playing Mabinogi a while ago while my sister was having a friend get together, and a few were commenting how it looked like a low budget wow game. Hello there? Mabinogi was out years before wow was even started being made. Heck, I checked the system requirements, and a WINDOWS 98 with good hardware could run it nativly. It just makes me want to yell at people who say this kind of stuff. Just because game got popular, it doesn't make all other games of that type instantly based off of it. |

No, if any first person shooter halo is based on, it is more possible for it to be Marathon. Any WoW is more based on everquest, as that was out first, I would cry if someone said Everquest was rip off of Wow. World of warcraft and the halo series, are both good game(s), but not the greatest games of all time that all games are loving based on. |

Feck em all, Halo is a blatant rip off of Midi Maze, WOW is a cheap copy of Rouge, Rouge and Midi Maze are copies of Pong and "some kids pretending to be wild west cowboys", and Metal of Duty: Honor Call is obviously stealing ideas from Chess. Remember kids,(who are actually older than I am) back in the day the word FPS didn't exist and we called 'em all "DooM Clones". Before that we had them "Rouge-Likes". Remember yer dam' heritage! |

In my opinion, Mabinogi is WAY different than WoW... WoW gets boring, and is like every other generic MMO, all you do is click on the thing and mash the F keys for skills. Mabinogi, you gotta use the skills properly, and even wait sometimes. Not to mention the way the battle system works is a lot different, and Mabinogi has more than just Min Max and Speed like WoW, it has balance, critical, proficiency, etc. However, most FPS are the same. |
