Plate Saw

I have an excellent idea for beginners who want to build 2 story houses. I think there should be a tool to saw through plates. It makes a ghost square showing where your going to saw. You move the mouse to make it thinner or fatter etc. It would be a great tool for beginners so when they build a two story they can just saw through a baseplate for a stairway! It can also be used for many other things. What do you guys think?

Trench mod did something similar with the digging, This may be possible..

As long as you have the default powers-of-two square plates (1x1, 2x2, 4x4, 8x8) up to 64x64, it should work. Just don't make it mess up start creating bricks that you can't delete and are invisible.
