How do you use mission editor?

I installed the mission editor a while ago but I can't seem to be able to find out how to use it.

Please can someone tell me how to use it

Use F11 to open it when you're in a game. You can only use it on your own server.

Don't edit a map and then save it over the original. You could have some problems joining servers using that map.
