(or the file you have your custom firmware set to)
You need custom firmware!

I'll try it out when you create a building system. Not much point atm.

Ah. There we go. This explains it.

You can jump now :D
will update file right when I finish colliding objects.
(and the sky box is being a bitch, going to leave the back ground picture for now)

Update:
Added the jumping
Can have more then 1 screen shot (when you restart it over rides old screen shots)
Redid some camera work.
Collision all most done.

Coming together nicely!
any one want to help though? :|
there's a reason why this thread is in community projects.

I would if I knew how to code in Lua.
I'm glad to help with anything else though.

I'm making my own engine o.O
collision and jumping work now.
Going to work on brick placement now.
Please, please, please guys, I need help :(
If someone could make a menu and try to make a sky box that would be awesome.
Even if you don't own a psp its the kind of lua that you use on your computer, just different functions.

added multiple collisions (bottom collision isn't set yet, will make later)
You can jump from 1 brick to another! (a little jumpy graphics wise though)
you can rotate ghost brick with L and R (its a square though so you cant notice it :P)
Right now I'm working making place able bricks, (the damn tables don't want to store though!)

can someone please make a menu :(

Also, I could make a blockland save viewer, when I finish brick making.

Can now move and place bricks!
FPS dies though after 100 will fix.

cross: place brick
square + L: move brick down
square + R: move brick up
triangle: change view
circle: jump
L: rotate brick
R: rotate brick
select: screen shot

This is really fun to read. Everytime you post you have implemented a new feature. Could this become BL portable? :3

At the very least I'm going to give out the engine for making other games.
I was so bumed that there was no 3d lua based engines (everything is 2d).
Right now I'm working on making bricks use the least amount of system resources.
When I'm done with that I'm going to do some code clean up removing unused functions, making the jump function work better, etc.
I saw on another forum someone coded a better screenshot code snippet, I tryed porting it, but more damn table porblems, (I bet I used a captial leter instead of lower case / vice vera).
But when thats done I can have the menu's background change with screenshots :D.

I could use some help with a player model (least amount of polys possible please), just export the vertices.

I PMed badspot about helping with some brick culling code, I doubt he'll give it though :(.
But think about it, if the homebrew gets popular badspot will get some free advertising :D.

tldr:
Cleaning up game, need halp; homebrew = free advertising.

ok, how could you downgrade a 4.01 normal firmware psp?

Buy a pandora battery.

Costs 10 dolors, about 2 weeks to ship anywere in the world (free shiping).

Pfft, I got BL to work on PSP.

VNC of course...
Its not the same.
