i have no clue how it all went down, but it seems a little shady to be so generous.

well that's not allowed, ID's are non transferable, that includes "borrowing".
so if its true then you shouldn't be surprised at all that your banned.

Well TheUnkown used to host for USSR for a long time, along with Wizzard. He wasn't quite a member but he helped out alot. So then he offered us IDs pretty much as gifts, he then was inactive because he joined the Dutch Navy. I talked to him on and off, then he decided like last July that he should just leave Blockland, because he didn't play anymore.

You should be grateful that you have played blockland for free for a while, while others had to pay or didn't buy it. If you think blockland's worth it then buy it. 20 dollars can not be a lot of money.
