Yeah, because it's a mowed pattern, its supposed to be there.

What is really horrible about it is the contrast between the light green and the dark green. If you tile it, it makes you either sick, dizzy, or both at the same time.

Anyone have a selection of deciduous tree models/textures? or know where to find them?  (looking for dts preferably).

As for my own offering...

All I can say is that for basic textures that tile well, just take a plain color in Paint.net or photoshop and use the noise filter to add detail too it. The repetition of the tiles is almost impossible to detect and can be used for a variety of purposes.
