Use sheetmetal. Find it at like, ace hardware, or home depot. Its like, 10 dollars for a 6 inch piece. Its the best.
Like, buy about 5 sheets of .6 inch sheets, and hammer them together in the shape you want. Its epic, than sharpen with a file or a grinding wheel.

When you grind it, the metal heats, but yeah, I guess you could just hammer it all together. I managed to keep mine together with just the wheel.

Before making it though, I used some glue in the middle, but, that didn't really help. I just needed it to hold while making it.
And then, I hammered it, and grinded and filed again.
