Garrys mod questions!

Ok, first of please dont shout at me for not putting in gmod forums i am in a rush.  If some ppl could answer some of these it would be highly appreciated! 1. which pack would you recomend i should get Team fortress 2 with garrys mod or Counterstrike: source with g mod        2. Could i get gmod alone and then bought half-life 2 on same account, would it still count do you get the props and things?  for ppl tht answer them thanks!

Get TF2 + GMod, good price, good games, more props.  You do NOT get other game's props when you don't have the game's they're from.
