Whats so hard about it is that you get it again when you join another server.

indeed.
so there is a server that has this on it and its a virus?
is there anyone who didn't go to this server and dowload it?
cuz i can't ever remember seeing it it the music folders or ever seeing it being downloaded... (offtopic: but when i looked in the background music stuff it was there)
anyway im still delteteteteteteing

Just keep deleting.
Leave any server as soon as you start to download it.
Rejoin tell them that they have it and leave again before it starts.
Find another server.

thanks for that i will tell the server host when i join thier server but still you didn't answer my question-so there is a server that has this on it and its a virus?

No, it sint a virus but its spreading like one, its music with the default music names.

Anyone wanna wright a script that deletes it when you close blockland?

I'm pretty sure it won't do anything if you host with all the default music disabled

You're right.

Not possible in Torque script, however possible with a .bat file.

Well youre all right. It was a nice soundpack but unfortunately not everyone knows how to add music properly. Someone has put the defaults in and the folder. I did give instruction. anyways just remove anything to do with amiga soundpack before this gets worse. Im pissed off because im getting the blame for some noobs mistake. I re released it along with a new soundpack but it got moved into the fail bin because of this. my new soundpack is ok. Im working on a flash app which lets you preview the individual sounds in the browser before downloading. Im sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. like the rest of you i just wanted to release a good addon.

... My soundpack isnt the only problem. heres another example of someone who cant unzip stuff properly!

That's more a case of a friend being a total attention whore via music.

Here's an example of someone who doesn't realise you're not meant to unzip stuff with the new add-on system.

is that why there are numerous unzipped files that I downloaded?  If so, how do people not get how to do this properly.

Above is an example that music actually can be unzipped and left in add-ons/music/ as just a .ogg.

You download unzipped files from servers.
I expect downloading part of a .zip would be hard. Also, it would make you think you already had that add-on and not install it.

I remember Badspot saying how he made a protection against multiple add-on download, like if Weapon_Example and Weapon_Example(1) are both in the folder, it wont read Weapon_Example(1).

Badspot should easily be able to prevent the default music files from being overwritten.
