Yes, although using plates near the top could reduce height and prevent that.
However, if I'm too lazy to do that, then you're right, it won't be perfectly round.

That's why you use different ramps dude.
I can make a sphere too, easily..
And not a weird-shaped one, perfect sphere.

If my math is right, you need to make it 170 bricks, and 2 plates tall.

The picture on the 1st page has about 16k bricks.

I've never had lag on Blockland from bricks. So I'm gonna guess at about 100k bricks is too many. :D
