Hypercam 2 Help

lol you don't hold much respect for anyone, I've noticed.

But for me, I like to use Cam Studio. Seems to be fairly competent in settings and adjustments to fit one's needs.

Yeah; I use Camstudio. The quality can be bad sometimes but it's good enough without having HUEG files.

Wow, you are pretty insecure about some small thing, as always.  You need to learn to understand half of things, like not believe what others say that one said, or just read right.  I know not everyone uses it, but in half of the Youtube videos out there, there is a huge UNREGISTERED HYPERCAM 2.

the point of huge recorded file sizes is so it can record at high quality without lagging you.
as to normally screen record at full game res and quality would never work. compressing as recording is processor hungry.

but your supposed to toss it in windows movie maker or some other app to compress it afterwords.
the best things on computers are not made to be the easy way out for dummy's.
quality > simplicity

i took a 5-6min avi recording on HL2, that came to like 4gigs.
compressed to 86m wmv. at damn good quality compared to youtube stuff

I'd recommend ZD Soft Screen Recorder.  Really good.

I purchased the full license to FRAPS and I have had no trouble with it. It works as advertised and any other programs that create smaller file sizes are skimping on quality.

There are numerous free converters for changing raw AVI footage into a compressed format.
